Tanaya’s favorite: Art Photograph

I decided to start with one of my favorites from the first batch that I had shot in RAW.  It was a beautiful day and the colors were so vibrant and the contrast was so high that it was hard not to be inspired by my surroundings.

I will leave you to guess what this is an image of.  I imagine if I don’t tell anyone for a very long time I may forget myself.  But I love to see a face in this image.  One deep dark eye of a strange creature staring back at me.

One of my favorite subjects is the mundane and it has always intrigued me from the first time I had ever picked up a camera.   I suppose I have always enjoyed the way you can change someone’s perceptions by capturing something they have never noticed before.  Perhaps it is just indicative of the way I see my world.
